RIP
In honour of the woman who carried us most of the way through life.
You taught us kindness, compassion, humility, gentleness and patience.
Most importantly, you taught us to follow our hearts and dreams.
Her Story
Before She Left
She wrote me a note

Every gambler knows
That the secret to survivin'
Is knowin' what to throw away
And knowin' what to keep
'Cause every hand's a winner
And every hand's a loser
And the best that you can hope for is to die in your sleep
P.S.
Last Will and Testament
Here’s a list, execute it!

To Whom it may concern,
An explanation why
Don’t inform Hell when I'm dead
Celebrate me instead
My bucket list of hopes and dreams
Make it happen, find a team
Taken responsibility for what she could
Feeling called to do more good
Changing the rules of the game
No longer feeling the shame
Doing better was a must
This is her legacy, given in trust

Advocate for mental health and human rights
Diversity is a must not just cisgender, able
bodied or whites
Don’t be a bigot, a capitalist or discriminate
The rest we leave to fate
Money won’t get you a place, which is worth a
mention
Show off your skills to get some attention
People who are musical, can bust a move or sing
Artists who make decorations out of recyclable things
Parties without the usual cheer
She is the only spirit here
beverages of water, coffee and tea
A teetotaler, in sobriety
She wore headphones, liked hip hop and dance
Are you willing to take a chance?
Once her birthday was online
With friends across the dateline
Livestream on the net, join the fun
Make it accessible to everyone
Participate however you please
Save the ocean or plant some trees
Change is inevitable except from a machine
Who will volunteer remains to be seen
Join us!
Go ahead, we dare you, make our day
Peace Out

A prince would save her, they said it from the
start
Many tried, in the end, a dragon captured her
heart
They travelled Australia‛s East Coast alone
Eventually, they longed for home
But, where was home base?
Wandering aimlessly they took refuge on a
farm, laid waste
Short lived, as winter months would dictate
They needed to leave, post haste
Finding safe passage to a better life
They left, endeavouring to find a wife
Meeting others of the human kind
Dragon said, “Time I found mine!”
She found his homeland
Brother came and they left in his van
Dragon was gone, she was all alone
Then…..Hell summoned her home
Too tired to fight, worn down
She sought consult in a nearby town
Now with tools to use
What did she have to lose!?
Rejecting Hell’s conduct
She grew strong and said GET FU……

She wrote out her will
Testament to a life gone by
