INCLUSION OF ALL
MORE EXCITING CONTENT COMING SOON!!!
Blueprints and plans to start our own recycling and incorporate that into our lives.
DID YOU KNOW
The reason that plastic straws are "not recyclable" is because they are too flimsy and small.

They fall through the conveyor belts and don't remain where they're meant to.
Putting them bundled together inside another recyclable container makes them more likely to be recycled but of course that's if the material isn't hand sorted. They are thrown into the garbage in that case. There are machines that you can make with info from this site to shred plastic into small pieces that can be then melted down and made into something else.
