Over the past 5 years a lot has happened, especially over the course of Covid-19. 

We want to share what we have been working on in a way that fosters a culture of learning and development.

With a strategic use of systems thinking and design thinking we are aim to design and implement a better system within the community.​

Adding value to the lives of others

  1. ​Investigating and reviewing people, places and things to ascertain their true safety, integrity, morals, ethics and inclusion of the queer, disabled and neurodiverse community. 

  2. Build a network with local, national, and, international professionals and community peers. 

  3. Provide peer support for the community and professionals alike for social wellness. Improving mental health, reducing the stigma and having a better understanding of self through community

  4. Identifing and determining safer alternatives and opportunities to improve services, treatment options and employment oportunities to the wider community. Similtaniously creating Job Opportunities for the underemployed diverse community.

  5. Corporate and workplaceTraining for staff/volunteers via those with lived experience to give appropriate skills & knowledge for qualifications and course outcomes in preparation for real world employment situations

  6. Providing alternatives to current issues surrounding recycling and waste.

Renovating Secondhand Furniture

 

You may have seen some of my work I did during lockdown last year that I have posted on Instagram @deadlettera.

 

I had all these piles of stuff I had collected, business cards, stickers, postcards etc from local businesses.

At first, I didn't know what to do with it all. They now form a collage on table tops.

ON MY JOURNEY TO FIND MYSELF AND MY PLACE IN THE WORLD, I REDISCOVERED MY LOVE OF ART & FOUND A COMMUNITY OF PEOPLE THAT I NOW CALL MY FRIENDS & FAMILY.

THEY FEED MY SOUL WITH SUCH RICH NOURISHMENT THAT RECONNECTS ME TO SOURCE & IT MAKES ME WONDER HOW I EVER LIVED SUCH A COLOURLESS, MUNDANE EXISTENCE IN MY PAST LIFE.

 

THEY HELPED ME REMEMBER WHO I AM & NOT WHO I WAS TOLD TO BE.

THEY REMIND ME OF THE REASONS WHY LIFE IS WORTH LIVING AND GIVE ME HOPE FOR THE FUTURE OF THE WORLD.

THEY ARE ALL BEAUTIFUL SHINING LIGHTS OF TRUTH HIDDEN FROM THE WORLD BY OMINOUS SHADOWS OF THE PATRIARCHY.

​

SHADOWS DO NOT EXIST WITHOUT THE LIGHTS OF TRUTH, & TO THEIR DETRIMENT, THE PATRIARCHY CONTINUES TO BE THE SCORPION TO THE FROG.​
