In Flux: Trans and Gender- Diverse Reflections and Imaginings

I participated in Trans and gender-diverse storytelling workshops from Maribyrnong and Beyond.

Conceived by Alex Nichols and co-produced by Alex Nichols and Urszula Dawkins, A Thousand Threads: Stories of Us was initially funded by a Transgender Victoria SPARK grant and has been further supported by the City of Maribyrnong, Pride Foundation, Thorne Harbour Health and Queerspace.

I am co-editor of the resulting anthology, In Flux: Trans and Gender Diverse and Reflections & Imaginings, in which some of my work has been published alongside other writers.

We had a book launch on 3rd December at the Bluestone Church Art Space- 8A Hyde St, Footscray for the anthology where 10 of the writers performed their work for the attending audience.

I facilitated 1 of the zoom rehearsals between the creative director, Aspen Beilharz and the anthology writers for the performances.

I designed the program for the book launch which was a16 page A3 mini zine which you can see here along with an 8 page A4 mini zine I designed from art made by trans, gender diverse and non binary folk in a series of workshops in Merri Bek. Plus an A4 poster on the back of the mini zine also designed with the art from trans, gender diverse and non binary folk in the workshops.
